Murmurs

This is a collection of stories I wrote in my head while speaking into a voice recording device while driving from Portland to Austin during the fall of 2007. There is an overall concept that ties most of the work in here toether, but it's fairly scattered and offers little resolution to coherent though.

Most of the book revolves around the ideas of death and loss, but in a sense of the individual rather than a group or relationship. I learned, while listening to the recordings, that I had forgotten over half the content originally written; that idea of forgetting things that you once thought to be important had a large impact on how the visuals were approached, nestling important ideas in places that would either be impossible or near impossible to read or decipher upon final printing.
