A series of 11x17 prints, Concubine is meant to visually interpret the anxiety that comes with simply waking up in the morning to a society that is structured on a base of servitutde and submissiveness to a higher power or owner. The forces of control in our lives are not always direct, and in fact the most dire certainly stay hidden, and for this we are all hidden mistresses.
